Tamika N. Hardy is a partner at Rivkin Radler, LLP, the largest law firm on Long Island, New York. She concentrates her practice on litigating employment, commercial and banking disputes in federal and state courts as well as before various state and federal administrative agencies. She is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. Recognized for her commitment to the legal profession and her community, Long Island Business News named Tamika as one of Long Island’s 40 under 40 Rising Stars in 2014 and granted her the Leadership in Law Award in 2018. To add to her achievements, Tamika received the New York State Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section Diversity Fellowship for 2018 – 2020. The Fellowship is designed to attract emerging leaders in the field and increase the diversity of the Section membership and within the NYSBA.
Additionally, Tamika is an active member of the Long Island Women’s Collaborative where she served as Co-Chairperson of the Annual Women’s Leadership Conference Event Committee in 2018 and 2019.
Ms. Hardy has also been extensively involved in the National Bar Association, the oldest Bar Association for attorneys, jurists and law students, for which she served as Treasurer of the National Bar Association’s (“NBA”) Labor and Employment Law Section for 2018-2019; Co-Chair of the NBA’s Women Lawyers Division Award’s Breakfast Nomination’s Committee for 2018-2019; member of the NBA’s National Convention Committee and the NBA Region II Convention CLE Subcommittee for the NBA’s Annual Conference in New York City in 2019, and Co-Chair of the NBA’s Annual Labor and Employment Conference.
Prior to serving as the 2021 President of Amistad, Tamika served as President-Elect in 2020 and as VP of Membership in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
Tamika graduated from Fordham University School of Law in 2001 and from Franklin and Marshall College in 1996.
