Biography

Ghenya B. Grant is the founding Partner of the Law Office of Ghenya B. Grant/Grant Law Group where she practices in the areas of business law, real estate, sports and entertainment, hospitality, intellectual property and public policy. Ms. Grant received her Juris Doctorate from the New York Law School while attending law school as an evening student and working as a investigating Probation Officer for the New York City Department of Probation. Ms. Grant began her legal career as an attorney with an entertainment and litigation firm, where she worked on employment discrimination cases and high profile entertainment litigation and music publishing matters. Ms. Grant has been actively engaged civic and community affairs as a public official and public servant. She served as an elected member and past president of the Wyandanch Public Library Board of Trustees, Vice-President of the Greater Wyandanch Chamber of Commerce, and Vice-Chair of the Suffolk County African-American Advisory Board. Ms. Grant received a B.A. in Political Science from Hampton University and did her post-graduate study in Public Administration at Long Island University/C.W. Post. She is admitted to practice to the New York State and the U.S. District Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She is a member of the National Bar Association, the Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association, and a board member of several non-profit and civic organizations.Close
