The 2017 Constitution Day Program was a success. The topic was the 4th Amendment. 300 students in the 8th grade attended the presentation at the Brentwood West Middle School. As chair, I am thankful to all the speakers. I am especially thankful to Judge Derrick Robinson and Alonzo Jacobs for being guest speakers. Judge Robinson and Alonzo Jacobs are both members of Amistad. Judge Robinson is also one of the founding members of the Amistad Bar Association.

Prior to joining the Office of the Attorney General, Judge Robinson was the Chief Deputy Town Attorney for the Town of Brookhaven. There he was the head of the Litigation Group and responsible for supervising 10 attorneys and 7 investigators in the enforcement of town codes and ordinances.
